How to Donate

Food, Personal Care Items, and Paper Products

The Andrew County Food Pantry always welcomes donations of food, personal care items, and paper products. While all donations are appreciated, community groups seeking a list of items to guide monthly mission projects might consider the following:

Suggested Monthly Food Pantry Donations

January: Breakfast Foods (e.g., cereal, oatmeal, toaster pastries), Soup/Chili Fixings, Crackers, Snacks, Hot Drinks, Bar Soap, Paper Towels
February: Hot Breakfast Foods (e.g., oatmeal, pancake mix, syrup), Canned/Boxed Casseroles (i.e., main dish items high in protein), Boxed Cakes/Brownies, Frosting, Shampoo, Toilet Paper
March: Canned Meats (e.g., tuna, chicken), Instant/Canned Potatoes, Rice, Pasta, Dental Hygiene Products, Tissues
April: Baking Supplies (e.g., flour, sugar, baking soda/powder, oil, chocolate chips), Peanut Butter, Jelly, Canned Vegetables/Fruits, Laundry Supplies, Paper Towels
May: Condiments (e.g., ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce), Seasonings (e.g., salt, pepper, spices), Mexican Foods (e.g., beans, taco shells, salsa), Cleaning Products, Toilet Paper
June: Canned Meats (e.g., tuna, chicken), Box Meals (e.g., Tuna Helper), Personal Care Items (e.g., deodorant, razors, lotion), Tissues       

July: Condiments (e.g., ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce), Bar Soap, Paper Towels, Tissues
August: Box Meals (e.g., Hamburger Helper), Toilet Paper, Shampoo
September: Soup/Chili Fixings, Crackers, Choice Items* (e.g., pasta sauce, coffee, tea, pie fillings, mayonnaise), Dental Hygiene Products, Tissues
October: Thanksgiving Dinner Supplies (e.g., canned pumpkin, canned cranberries, stuffing), Laundry Supplies, Paper Towels
November: Baking Supplies (e.g., flour, sugar, baking soda/powder, oil, chocolate chips), Holiday Foods (e.g., ham, canned sweet potatoes, green beans, cream soups), Cleaning Products, Toilet Paper
December: Soup/Chili fixings, Crackers, Choice Items* (e.g., pasta sauce, coffee, tea, pie fillings, mayo), Personal Care Items (e.g., deodorant, razors, lotion), Tissues

* Visitors to the Food Pantry are given the opportunity to select a limited number of Choice Items each month. Choice Items are food items that are not the traditional day-to-day staples distributed (e.g., snack items, condiments, baking items, juice).

Financial Support

Andrew County Ministries is an incorporated 501(c)(3) organization and therefore, all monetary donations are tax deductible. Monetary donations may be designated for a specific ACM-coordinated program or applied to general services provided by Andrew County Ministries and mailed to:

NOTE: Taxpayers making donations to the Andrew County Food Pantry may file a claim for a Missouri Department of Revenue Food Pantry Tax Credit (FPT). Information on how to file an FPT claim can be found here.
